NEW DELHI: Rimmington dismissed Virender Sehwag after his fifty to give Delhi Daredevils sixth blow with 26 required in as many balls in the CLT20 clash.

Ross Taylor was the fourth man to fall at the score of 60 in the tenth over.

He became second victim of Michael Beer who earlier dismissed Kevin Pietersen.

Joe Mennie dismissed Mahela Jayawardene and Unmukt Chand in consecutive overs to spoil Daredevils' start.

Chand's dismissal reduced Daredevils to 22/2 in four overs.

Jaya scored 4 before falling to Mennie in the second over.

Earlier, Delhi pacers Morne Morkel finished with 3/19 while Ajit Agarkar claimed 2/14 to restrict Perth Scorchers to 121/5.

Perth batsmen were seen struggling against the disciplined Delhi attack right from the beginning of the game.

After being invited to bat, Perth lost Herschelle Gibbs in the second over. Morne Morkel bowled out Gibbs (6) who greeted Irfan Pathan with a six in the first over.

Simon Katich and Shaun Marsh, however, steadied the innings with their gritty show.

The duo took the score past 50 mark in the ninth over, raising hope for a challenging target.

However, Ajit Agarkar's double blow sent back both Marsh (39) and Katich (34) in consecutive overs, leaving Perth in turmoil.

Morkel then claimed two quick wickets as Perth found scoring hard against the Delhi attack.

Both teams remain unchanged.

After winning their tournament-opener, second-placed Delhi's cricketers were left to warm the benches as rain washed out their second game against Auckland Aces in Johannesburg on Friday.

Perth Scorchers, on the other hand, are lying bottom of the heap with a loss and a couple of points from Thursday's wash-out.

They desperately need to win on Sunday to have any chance of staying afloat in the tournament.
