Bumrah gets rid of Kohli, RCB 2 down

BANGALORE: Debutant Jasprit Bumrah got rid of danger man Virat Kohli in his first over to give Royal Challengers Bangalore second blow at teh score of 28 in the IPL clash at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on Thursday.

Kohli was trapped leg before wickets by Bumrah after his 24-run knock that came off just 14 deliveries.

Mumbai pacer Mitchell Johnson struck in the third over to send back Tillakaratne Dilshan early after Royal Challengers Bangalore were invited to bat.

Dilshan was bolwed out by Johnson for a duck.

Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli said he too would have bowled.

Mumbai Indians will miss the service of star pacer Lasith Malinga who is out due to injury. On the other hand, Bangalore pace attack looks toothless in the absence of Zaheer Khan.

The visitors have picked a rookie seamer in Jaspreet Bumrah.
