India started off fourth and the last quarter with Manpreet Singh striking in the 47th minute to put India ahead again in the match.
Ninth-ranked India went on to increase their lead for the first time when Rupinderpal Singh sounded the board with his scorching drag-flick to make it 3-1 for the hosts.
Van der Weerden Mink struck again as he converted the penalty corner in the 58th minute to give India anxious moments in the dying minutes of the match.
