Andy Murray to marry Kim Sears in April

LONDON: It was the biggest speculation in 2013 when Andy Murray made history by winning the Wimbledon - would he finally propose to his girlfriend Kim Sears?

Almost over a year later, he finally has.

Britain's number one tennis player is all set to tie the knot with his girlfriend of nine years at the five-star Cromlix House Hotel on April 11.

Murray himself owns this property which is close to his home town of Dunblane. It also played the venue for his brother Jamie's wedding in 2010.

Murray and Sears got engaged last November. Both of them are 27-years old.

Sears is the daughter of former Lawn Tennis Association head of women's tennis, Nigel Sears.

She was once described by Andy's mother Judy as "the best thing to happen to Andy".
