Atharva, who was sharing the lead with top seed Saransh Jeswani and Kshitij Joshi on Saturday with four points each, displayed wonderful performance on Sunday in both the rounds to emerge champion.
Atharva outwitted Abhishek Ekre in the sixth and final round to take his points tally to 5.5 to clinch the crown. On the other hand on the top board, Saransh was held to a draw by Kshitij Mudliar. Saransh and Kshitij Joshi finished with five points each.
In the girls section, Narayani downed Sharanya Adane in the fourth and last round. Unbeaten Narayani finished with four points pipping Riddhi Palorkar (3.5) to the second spot.
